Even the smallest of people-things can have great adventures! British photographer Andrew Whyte has taken photos of tiny Lego adventurers witnessing beautiful things.
In fact, Whyte took photos of the little guys every day for a year with his iPhone, calling the series “Legography” – now that’s commitment! What’s really cool is the variety in locations, moods and subjects he captured.
Check out this article on fastcocreate.com for details on how he did it, and Andrew Whyte’s own website for the FULL gallery of images. I LOVE THIS.
Here’s something that’s been a looooooong time in the making, and I mean a long time. LEGO (or should I say LEGO®?) has been around for ages – literally the first thing life on Earth found after crawling out of the primordial ooze. It makes perfect sense, then, that there should be a hilarious movie adaptation of the toys hitting screens in 2014.
With an all-star voice cast and a range of LEGO charatcers from classic to DC superheroes and more, check out the first teaser trailer for The LEGO® Movie:
Like many kids of the ’80s, I love Indiana Jones. I watched those movies until I wore out the videocassettes, and then I tried to get my friends to re-enact key scenes (with myself as Indy, of course). And you know I watched the hell out of that Young Indiana Jones show that seems to have been lost to history.
As we all know, the most recent Indiana Jones movie was a… bit of a disappointment. Luckily, fans have come to the rescue! Much like Indy would leave a sandbag in place of cool treasure, the awesome folks of Groß-O-Films have taken a meh movie and replaced it with a Lego MASTERPIECE.
I’m a bit of a Flickr addict. I discovered it a few years ago when I was dealing with a really awful bout of insomnia (Insider’s Tip: never try to deal with insomnia this way; you will find yourself disappearing down a rabbit hole of cool weird stuff and emerging minutes before the sun comes up.).
Flickr has already dug its awesome yet distracting claws into me, but there’s no need for you to waste spend hours clicking around just to find the weird and wonderful. Yes, I’ll be doing all the hard work for you by finding the awesome and weird and posting it right here! My mission is to find the totally cray, so you can link to it and post it on Facebook etc. Just think: +1000 free nerd points for all, thanks to your nerdy and obsessive new buddy Erin! Keep reading >
