Beyonce’s ‘Drunk in Love’ Goes 1940s Swing

The B and I are pretty close: I groove to her tunes, she sings them unaware. I petition her to do the Single Ladies dance with a mash-up of my favourite superheroes (can you imagine?), she…goes about her day, completely unaware.

Okay, so this thing is kind of a one-way street. Good thing I have other friends!

Thankfully Scott Bradlee‘s heard my prayers and done what he does best – classy song remixes. Check out his swing redo of Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love” featuring awesome vocalist Christina Gatti! I dare you to not snap your fingers along with this little ditty.

5 Wonderfully Creative Cover Songs

It’s the worst when a band covers a song and just tries to imitate the original artist (do you hear me, Ugly Kid Joe?). To me, the whole point of covers is to put your own mark on the song.
