Running around like a turkey with its head cut off…

Hey everybody!

Sorry for my brief absence from the internets but I’ve been cooking up a storm! It’s Thanksgiving this weekend, and my mother announced on Tuesday that she was going to be having HER “Thanksgiving do” on Saturday! THIS Saturday! And there I was thinking we’d be having our turkey on Monday like most other families. But of course, my mother always has to be different and “make a splash”. ;)

So these past couple of days have been nuts! I had my weekly hangout and comic book pick-up day with Guy (wherein I told him about my reiki experience! Gonna be having another one on Tuesday…), and then I recorded a vlog about natural medicine, then I editededed it, then I had to work of course too…and finally I COOKED.

My mother wanted me to bring 1x dessert, 1x veg, and a “young and fun” cocktail mix.

For the dessert…a pumpkin ice cream pie thank you very much.

I don’t know how “young and fun” this is (it’s a Martha Stewart recipe!) but my cocktail is a spiced Brandy Wine (from Brandywine River?). ;)

I’m kinda stuck on what to do for an interesting veggie dish. Any ideas?
