Just got home from hanging out with Darcy and seeing the psychic!
Wow.
She gave me a lot of interesting things to think about, and on the whole it ended up being a good experience despite how weirdly apprehensive I got right before I went in.
She was a sort of no nonsense type of old lady, but VERY spiritual with all kinds of religious knick-knacks everywhere. Her tarot deck was WELL worn, which I’m guessing means she’s been around the block.
Some of the things she said didn’t make a lick of sense to me, but surprisingly there was a lot that matched up! For example, she knew that my mother is hard on me and that we don’t have a good relationship. She knew that I’ve been kind of down lately. She knew that I did something performance based (my vlog!). And she knew I’d had a break-up recently. (well sorta recently, but I say close enough!)
As for predictions of the future, she said I’d have a big career change in the New Year! I can’t imagine that’ll be right as I don’t know why I’d ever have to leave either of my jobs. She also said that I’d find a new love early in the spring! Pretty specific stuff – I won’t hold my breath, but it would certainly be nice! (as long as it coincides with my 6-month vow of no dating) And, disconcertingly, she said I’d be betrayed by someone I love. Specifically a guy. I asked if she meant a guy I’m dating, or if she meant a friend but she said that she couldn’t tell. Well, I guess I have THAT to look forward to. :S
But overall, I feel optimistic and whether it comes true or not at least I had a good night!
