SUPER EXCITING NEWS!
I just got back from lunch with Mother and she broke the news to me – her and Mark are taking a trip to Paris together!
No, not Paris, Ontario (though I’m sure it’s lovely). I mean Paris, FRANCE! Baguettes, mimes, towers, all the lovely stereotypes rolled into one bustling city!
And everybody knows that Paris is also the city of love…which is why I’m so excited.
Mother thinks Mark may pop the question to her. THE question!!
They haven’t been seeing each other for that long and they know that, but honestly Mark is such a great guy, I’d be thrilled to have him as a step-dad. A theoretical step-dad at this point.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see? Mais oui!
Mother also promised to bring me back a nice French boy…
