THE MADNESS!
I’m just ducking into a Timmy’s for a quick hot chocolate and a break from the hoards of boxing day shoppers! Not that it’s much better in here…this line is so long that I’ll have a chance to fill you in on what happened before I fill myself of with liquid chocolatey gold!
So Sasaki came to the party last night which was awesome! Without him, I would have been stuck talking to André till he got drunk and started flirting with everything in the room, cue my mother to drunkenly stumble over and introduce me to every guy with a Saab. Or I woulda just gotten tanked and made out with a caterer. Yup.
But Sasaki arrived -and after a quick meeting with my mother – we snuck away and had a very traditional Christmas dinner. Chinese food and a movie! See Black Swan! See it! It’ll definitely change the way you watch “That 70s Show”…
Anyways, since boxing day is HUGE for my mother (an executive shopper), she’s occupied in Yorkville at Holt’s for the whole day! FREEDOM!!!!
And I agreed to accompany Sasaki on a boxing day mission to get him an XBOX 360 Slim! (I guess I talked his ear off last night about the awesomeness of the co-op campaign in Splinter Cell Conviction! Looks like I got a new gaming buddy…w00t) But the Best Buy at Yonge/Dundas opened today at 6am, and people were lined up since 3am! Okay. That wasn’t going to happen. (not this year at least ;) Last night was very TAXING and I didn’t get to bed till at least 3:30.
But we got in line outside around 10ish, were in line for about an hour – finally got in the store and no more 360 slims!! Grr.
So Sasaki’s in the line outside Future Shop now hopin’ for the best. I’ll join him in a sec with some treats. Mmmmm….maple glaze…..ByE!!1!!1
